Job Description

Egis is looking for an experienced Associate Project Director to work in the Air Traffic Management (ATM) team, part of the Aviation Service Line, based in Singapore. This will support our operations regionally, manage a portfolio of strategic projects for the Service Line.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
. Project Leadership and Oversight:

. Lead and oversee the entire aviation ATM project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.

. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives.

. Monitor project performance, provide direction, and resolve issues as they arise.

. Serve as the main point of contact for all key stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.

. Technical Skills:

. Deep knowledge of ATM systems Engineering and implementation processes

. Knowledge of ATM systems, Safety and Cybersecurity applied to the ATM field

. Project Planning and Strategy:

. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, budgets, and risk management strategies.

. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.

. Set clear expectations for the project team and ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

. Resource and Budget Management:

. Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of the project.

. Oversee project budgets, ensuring that the project remains on track financially.

. Monitor expenditures and financial forecasts, making adjustments as needed to maintain budgetary control.

. Team Management and Development:

. Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration.

. Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and growth.

. Technical expertise in ATM Systems required to mentor the team members.

. Risk and Issue Management:

. Identify potential project risks and take proactive steps to mitigate them.

. Handle any project issues that arise, making decisions to keep the project moving forward.

. Maintain regular risk assessments to identify new challenges or obstacles and address them swiftly.


. Business development:

. Identify potential opportunities of ATM projects in the region and work directly with Asia Aviation Director in pursuing these opportunities.

. Eventually, become bid manager for ATM consultancy opportunities and work with support of the Tender Unit to prepare technically sound proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION LEVEL

. A Degree in relevant engineering discipline

. Possess Master degree or higher

. Possesses Professional Engineer or Chartered Engineer (or higher) certification from distinguished Engineering Institute or Governing Body

. Possesses CISSP certification

. Any additional Project Management and relevant Technical Expertise certifications will be given strong consideration

EXPERIENCE

. Minimum of 12 years experience

. At least 5 or more years at a distinguished Civil Aviation Authority or Air Navigation Service Provider

. Credible working experience within global engineering or consulting organisation.

. Strong knowledge of the aviation CNS and ATM environment.

. Experience in managing engineering activities in the aviation sector

. Experience working in Asia a must.

. Cultural understanding of Asian customers

SKILLS

. Strongly proficient in MS Office, Planning and Project Controls methods

. Demonstrated experience to work in international and multicultural environment
