Job Description

The Division of SIE invites applications for a full-time faculty position as Associate Professor of Practice.

This Practice-track appointment is designed for distinguished industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and senior executives who possess substantial professional leadership experience and a strong commitment to higher education. The successful candidate will bridge cutting-edge industry practice with academic rigor, driving curriculum innovation, academic program leadership, pedagogical development, and external stakeholder engagement within NBS.

Pedagogy and Curriculum Innovation: Design, develop, and deliver high-impact courses in entrepreneurship, strategic management, corporate venturing, innovation, and/or international business across undergraduate, specialized master's (e.g., MSc in Management), MBA, and executive education programs.
Academic Program Leadership: Provide strategic stewardship and academic directorship for key degree and non-degree programs, spearheading curriculum modernization, experiential learning ventures, and program growth.
Industry and Ecosystem Connectivity: Serve as an active conduit between NBS and the broader enterprise and venture ecosystem, facilitating corporate partnerships, student mentorship, and industry-sponsored projects.
Institutional Service and Community Engagement: Contribute actively to divisional administration, faculty governance, school-wide initiatives, and strategic alumni relations.

A PhD in the relevant field of study.
At least 10 years of industry experience as well as an excellent practice-track record.
Evident teaching ability and clear potential to contribute to curriculum development.
Demonstrated evidence of service and scholarship in the form of, but not limited to, good quality publications, book chapters, written cases, pedagogical research, impactful creative works, or patents
