Job Description
The Associate Performance Marketing Specialist is an execution-focused role for someone early in their paid media career and ready to grow quickly. You'll work closely with your Specialist lead and the wider Paid Performance team to support campaign setup, day-to-day optimisation, and performance reporting across Google Ads and Meta — building the technical foundation and analytical habits required to become a strong performance marketer.
This is a high-learning, high-accountability role. You won't be expected to know everything from day one, but you will be expected to take ownership of your work, ask questions early, learn from feedback, and progressively develop toward independent campaign execution within your first year.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-disciplined, and genuinely interested in data and digital advertising. You manage your time well, communicate proactively, collaborate effectively with the people around you, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work.
What You'll Do
1. Campaign Execution (Supported)
- Assist in setting up and launching paid campaigns across Google Ads and Meta under specialist guidance.
- Maintain accurate campaign naming conventions, budget tagging, and documentation.
- Support pixel verification, event tracking checks, and pre-launch QA.
- Flag discrepancies or setup issues before campaigns go live.
2. Optimisation Support
- Monitor assigned campaigns daily and surface performance anomalies to your lead.
- Assist in basic bid adjustments, budget pacing checks, and audience refreshes.
- Support A/B test setup and help document results for review.
- Begin developing your own hypotheses around what is driving performance shifts.
3. Reporting & Insights
- Pull weekly performance data and assist in preparing client-facing reports.
- Maintain Looker Studio dashboards with accurate and up-to-date metrics.
- Summarise key performance movements with clear, plain-language commentary.
- Develop the ability to translate campaign data into meaningful observations and actionable insights.
4. Learning & Development
- Actively build channel knowledge across Google Ads and Meta.
- Complete relevant platform certifications, including Google Ads and Meta Blueprint, within your first 6 months.
- Participate in team reviews, case discussions, internal training, and collaborative working sessions.
- Take initiative in asking questions, applying feedback, and documenting learnings for continuous improvement.
- Progressively take on greater campaign ownership as your technical capability and confidence develop.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or a related field. Agency exposure is a plus but not required.
- Foundational understanding of Google Ads and/or Meta Ads Manager.
- Comfortable working with performance data — you don't need to be an analyst, but you should be curious about numbers and what they tell you.
- Strong attention to detail and a habit of double-checking your work before submitting or implementing changes.
- Proactive communicator who raises questions, blockers, and potential issues early.
- Able to manage priorities, follow established processes, and take accountability for assigned work.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Based in Singapore and able to work onsite during standard working hours.
- Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certification is a plus; willingness to pursue relevant certifications is expected.
Working Onsite at FPD
This is a full-time onsite position based in Singapore. You'll work closely with your team, managers, and cross-functional colleagues, giving you direct access to coaching, collaboration, and hands-on learning throughout your development.
Being onsite means actively participating in the team environment — contributing to discussions, raising questions and blockers early, being available for collaborative problem-solving, and maintaining clear ownership of your responsibilities. We value people who make use of the access and support around them while progressively building the confidence to operate independently.
Success in This Role Means
- Completing assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Asking the right questions early rather than making assumptions.
- Communicating blockers, mistakes, or performance concerns proactively.
- Showing measurable improvement in platform knowledge and execution quality quarter on quarter.
- Taking on increasing levels of campaign ownership as your capabilities develop.
- Becoming a dependable teammate your lead can trust to execute work thoroughly and consistently.
