Associate Manufacturing Engineer / Manufacturing Technician (normal working hours)

Job Description:

• Perform equipment setup and assembly, including vision, AOI, tape-and-reel machines, and electrical/mechanical components

• Align machines/modules, calibrate vision systems, and perform machine checkout, addressing electrical and mechanical assembly issues

• Provide on-site support locally and overseas, including troubleshooting and problem resolution

• Manage kit assembly, testing, and certification processes

• Monitor and manage stock inventory levels

• Handle part purchasing, collection, and liaising with subcontractors as needed

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, NITEC, or Higher NITEC with 1-3 years of relevant experience

• Experience in automation, mechanical, and electrical environments, preferably in the semiconductor industry

• Familiarity with machinery automation, electrical, servo, sensor, and pneumatic systems is preferred

• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings is an advantage

• Strong mechanical hands-on skills for alignment, motor tuning, and machine assembly

• Knowledge of AOI or vision systems is a plus
