Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

CAD Design for Jigs/Fixtures:

• Design and develop assembly jigs and fixtures using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure tooling solutions enhance assembly efficiency and product quality.

Data Analysis and BOM Validation:

• Utilize Excel features (macros, Power Query, data modelling) to conduct in-depth BOM comparisons and ensure consistency across product builds.
• Support engineering teams with high-volume data validation tasks.

Manufacturing Process Support:

• Participate in Value Analysis (VA) readiness efforts in collaboration with the team and external partners.
• Apply prior knowledge of assembly processes and production environments to identify and support improvements in manufacturing workflows

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or related studies
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or assembly processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including use of macros, Power Query, and data modelling.
