Our client is midsized International Bank and is seeking an Associate- Loan Operations for their team (Corporate Loans)
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
- Handles the setup and execution of credit facilities, including booking, loan processing, document checks, and coordination with internal teams.
- Manages the review, issuance, fee monitoring, and resolution of matters related to bank guarantees.
- Enter loan trades, manage cashflows and schedules, and handle drawdowns, rollovers, and settlements with borrowers and agents
- Handles reconciliations and prepares timely internal, external, and regulatory reports while ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Supports departmental efficiency through process improvements, project participation, compliance, system testing, and stakeholder support
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years of operations and settlements experience in banking or finance, ideally with knowledge of loans (Syndicated/ Bilateral), bonds, deposits, remittances, and treasury products.
- Good understanding of loans and trade processes, with the ability to understand credit agreements and settlement steps, and strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with good communication skills, able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently while improving processes and supporting automation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word. Experience in Avaloq shall be a plus.
