Job Description
- Matter Management & Fee Generation: Handle individual cases or parts of large matters to a high standard identify key issues and contribute to dispute resolution strategies draft legal documents and maintain timely communication manage client relationships effectively.
- Marketing & Business Development: Support client relationship development enhance the firm's profile through networking, marketing events, and thought leadership (e.g., articles).
- Delegation & People Development: Allocate work to junior lawyers and paralegals efficiently mentor and develop junior team members.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, deadlines, and billing ensure timely recovery of fees and adherence to agreed estimates.
- Knowledge Contribution: Improve firm systems, know-how, and resources for better efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Associate, Litigation should have:
- Lawyer qualified in England & Wales (or a recognized common law jurisdiction).
- Minimum 3 years post qualification experience with strong dispute resolution background and excellent academic credentials.
- Strong relationship management
- Critical thinking and commercial awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A meticulous attention to detail and high standard of accuracy.
- The ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
