Throughout this module, you will help students examine the accelerating relationship between government, business, law and the not-for-profit sector to deliver social (including environmental) value in communities and the way in which this drives social innovation.

In this course, students will learn through problem-based learning: solving an authentic business problem, including identifying an audience for their project, developing a project plan and considering solutions.

This course will also introduce and begin to embed practices relating to the Business Graduate Folio, an e-portfolio that is integrated throughout the Bachelor of Business curriculum and a requirement for the capstone close of the program.

Job Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in related discipline from a reputable university and preferably a certified Design Thinking facilitator/educator.

  • At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level

  • 5 years of relevant work experience

  • Familiar with Padlet, Miro and H5P will be an added advantage

  • Must be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeks

  • Must be available to teach weekday classes between 8.30AM and 6.30PM and/or weekday evenings from 7PM to 10PM

  • Must be able to handle sizeable class, grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline.
