Associate Lecturer - Understanding the Business Environment (HE6)

Job Descriptions:

Through this module, you will guide students on how business operates in a complex environment of internal, external, global and digital forces. Navigating this environment successfully ultimately determines businesses economic, environmental, social and financial performance.

You will introduce students to practical decision tools and empirical approaches to manage each of the environmental forces that businesses face.

This course will also introduce and begin to embed practices relating to the Business Graduate Folio, an eportfolio that is integrated throughout the Bachelor of Business curriculum and a requirement for the capstone close of the program.

Job Requirements:

• A Ph.D or Master's Degree in Economics from a reputable university or professional qualification in the relevant discipline and have a good business background.

• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred

• 5 years of relevant work experience

• Familiar with software such as H5P and Padlet will be an added advantage

• Must be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeks

• Must be available to teach classes during the day between 8.30AM and 6.30PM and/or on weekday evenings from 7PM to 10PM
