Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Associate, IP Strategist to join our team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with an interest in intellectual property (IP), business strategy, and innovation. The Associate will work closely with senior strategists on client engagements, conducting research, preparing analyses, and helping deliver practical strategies that align IP with commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of IP and intangible asset strategies for clients across diverse industries.
- Conduct market, competitor, and technology research to assess commercial opportunities and risks.
- Assist in the preparation of client deliverables including reports, presentations, and valuation models.
- Analyze clients IP portfolios to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for monetization.
- Collaborate with senior team members to provide insights on licensing, partnerships, and commercialization pathways.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-building initiatives and development of best practices.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Economics, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Master of IP and Innovation Management
- 1-3 years experience in consulting, corporate strategy, legal, or IP-related roles preferred (internship experience also considered).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in IP, innovation, and business strategy.
