Associate, Group Finance

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular quality assurance reviews of accounts payable invoice processing activities across the team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor invoice data for correctness in coding, tax treatment, and adherence to approval workflows while providing timely feedback to the accounts payable team.
• Support the development and refinement of invoice processing standards, templates, and controls to improve operational effectiveness.
• Provide backup support for invoice entry and processing during high-volume periods or staff absences, ensuring continuity of service.
• Assist with weekly payment runs and urgent payment requests as required by business needs.
• Support supplier account reconciliations and maintain accurate vendor data records through diligent review and follow-up.
• Contribute to weekly and monthly KPI reporting on invoice volumes, quality metrics, and turnaround times to inform performance improvements.
• Assist with documentation and testing of internal controls aligned with regulatory requirements such as SOX, supporting audit readiness.
• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries with appropriate backup documentation while contributing to month-end reporting schedules.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement finance systems enhancements.
