Shop Floor Operations

• Replenish merchandise to ensure shelves are well-stocked and products are available for customers.

• Ensure price labels, promotional signage, and shelf labels are accurate and up to date.

• Maintain store cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety standards.

• Execute planograms, merchandising displays, and promotional setups according to company guidelines.

• Conduct regular checks to identify and rectify out-of-stock item

Inventory & Stock Management

• Receive and process deliveries accurately and promptly.

• Handle heavy inventory-related tasks, including receiving, unloading, moving, and organizing stock safely and efficiently.

• Monitor shrinkage

• Ensure proper stock rotation using FIFO principles.

• Process stock transfers, returns, and markdowns according to company procedures.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and company policies.

• Support loss prevention initiatives by maintaining stock accuracy and reporting discrepancies.

• Assist with store opening and closing operational tasks.

• Ensure equipment and fixtures are in good working condition and report maintenance issues promptly.

• Support implementation of new operational initiatives and system rollouts.

Customer Support

• Provide customer assistance by directing customers to products

• Assist with cashier support during peak trading periods.

• Maintain a welcoming and well-organised shopping environment.

Team Support

• Work closely with store team members to achieve operational objectives.

• Support promotional events, store renovations, and new store openings when required.

• Assist in training new team members on operational processes.

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of retail experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle store operations, stock management, and merchandising.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Willingness to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays.
