Delta One Associate (Equity Derivatives Trading)

Job Responsibilities

• Support Delta One trading activities, including pricing, execution, hedging and risk management.
• Monitor and manage equity, futures, FX, funding and basis risks within established risk and compliance frameworks.
• Manage and optimize South Asian equity inventory to improve utilization, financing efficiency and profitability.
• Analyze financing costs, stock borrow availability, dividends, corporate actions and futures basis to identify trading and relative-value opportunities.
• Work with senior traders to improve trading economics, client franchise profitability and balance-sheet utilization.
• Develop analytical tools and use Python, AI and automation to enhance trading, risk management and inventory optimization.
• Collaborate with Quant, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Operations and other internal teams to improve trading infrastructure and support new products and markets.
• Resolve day-to-day trading issues and contribute to process improvements and trade ideas.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Delta One trading, equity financing, inventory optimization, prime brokerage or related front-office roles.
• Strong understanding of Asian equity markets, derivatives, financing and inventory management.
• Experience in South Asian markets is highly desirable.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into practical trading decisions.
• Proficiency in Python or other programming tools is advantageous experience with AI and automation is a plus.
