Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Engineer, System Acceptance to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support system configuration, testing, and acceptance activities for SMT equipment and solutions to ensure products are delivered to customers with the highest quality standards.
Working closely with Engineers, Senior Engineers, Manufacturing Engineering, and other cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in ensuring machines meet customer requirements, achieve on-time delivery targets, and maintain excellent out-of-box quality.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and perform system acceptance testing for SMT products, modules, and options according to customer specifications.
- Execute machine setup, verification, and testing activities based on defined procedures and quality requirements.
- Support customer pre-acceptance activities and in-house buy-off processes.
- Ensure machines perform according to product design specifications and customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with Product Specialists and Product Process Engineers.
- Escalate technical concerns, quality issues, and material shortages to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of equipment.
- Maintain accurate testing records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in a machinery manufacturing or production environment will have an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment, applications, and processes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with machine testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities is preferred.
