Job Description
- Monitor, respond to, and escalate DC network and facilities incidents in line with SLA and criticality.
- Manage customer requests and operational systems, including Electronic Visitation Management Systems.
- Analyse and benchmark system performance across data centres, translating insights into operational improvements.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of IoT sensors and troubleshoot BMS/EMS/PQMS connectivity issues impacting data quality.
- Perform real-time monitoring of DC infrastructure (power, UPS, cooling, humidity, water detection, etc.).
- Maintain DC documentation, reports, and ensure all supporting systems are fully operational.
- Manage incidents, root cause analysis, change requests, and customer communications to meet SLAs.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers on maintenance, shutdowns, access clearance, and projects.
The Successful Applicant
- Diploma in Engineering or IT with a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in data centre operations.
- Strong understanding of data centre facilities, operations support, and industry best practices.
- Certified in Basic Infocomm Technology with ITIL Foundation certification.
- A collaborative team player who is also capable of working independently.
- Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and perform well under pressure.
- Highly organised, with the flexibility to reprioritise as operational needs evolve.
- Clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
