Job Summary
Responsible for Cash & Trade business for Financial Institutions Client segment with special focus on PayTech clients. Actively identify client needs across full set of SCB product capabilities, originate new business and grow the franchise by capitalising on bank competitive attributes (network) and developing new relationships where required.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- To execute and manage the strategy for selling solutions across all Transaction Banking products to a portfolio of PayTech clients.
Business
This role is within the Transaction Banking Sales Financial Institutions team handling cash management and trade finance products for Paytech (Payment companies in Fintech) clients.
- Working in conjunction with coverage team, to agree & deliver revenue and activity targets for PayTech client's portfolio (based on client account planning) and actively call on assigned client base to ensure client relationship strategies are implemented.
- To manage transfer of best practices between markets, in order to leverage Transaction Banking capabilities with the client portfolio.
- Ensure financial objectives are met.
- Responsible for maintaining sustainable growth of revenue.
- Revenue monitoring and responsibility for assigned Paytech clients
- Driving utilisation levels by monitoring transaction history
- Manage other businesses under FI segment in addition to Pay Tech if required and assigned by the Line Manager
- Ideation, create value propositions and provide complex structure guidance to client and coverage CCIB relationship teams in driving portfolio revenue
- Focus on maximizing revenue by resolving any Product related impediments to the same
- Take complete ownership, ensure revenue and driver targets set for the portfolio are delivered
Processes
- To manage the Transaction Banking relationship across all products for a portfolio of PayTech clients.
- To undertake and manage RFP and deal processes for specific client base, to ensure optimal solution provided and presented to the customer, working with sales, product management and operations to deliver the desired results. To ensure smooth deal implementation and adherence to high levels of service quality.
- To provide feedback to Product Management on customer needs, trends, and market intelligence, and to provide direction on proposed project programme initiatives to central product management teams.
- Lead regular pricing reviews, including impact of waivers or non-standard pricing and implement appropriate local pricing at a product level.
- Ensure that clients are serviced promptly and quickly by the service team.
- To keep abreast of customers needs, trends, and product/market intelligence for new product developments/ enhancements, strengthening SCB's competitive position in this field.
- Conduct Market events to share best practices standards and raise SCB visibility.

- Work towards team building and their education. Ensure all e-learnings/trainings for the team are duly completed.

Risk Management
- Ensure Risk Monitoring as an integral part of the Business Process
- Proactively identify risks associated with the Transaction Banking business and contribute to introduce appropriate mitigants, being aware and understanding of the bank's risk appetite, controls in place.

- Ensure adherence to all Internal & External Regulations, Risk Monitoring as an integral part of the Business Process
- Ensure that the business meets its obligation under group policy and standards and under the local laws and regulation
- Manage all sales related activities through effective use of Work Bench (our CRM suite)

Our Ideal Candidate
- University degree holder
- 5 years of relevant Transaction Banking sales experience, ideally in the international/regional environment preferably with a good understanding of the market competitive landscape. Experience in handling PayTech companies would be an added advantage.
- Training in cash, trade, Fintech, Sales & Marketing
- Expertise in the payment environment, infrastructure and emerging trends in the payment space particularly cross border payments is a prerequisite
- Strong communication and influencing skills, proven track record to work in a collaborative cross-border team environment with multi-cultural stakeholders.
