Reports to: Project Director
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Assists the Project Director to maintain a sustainable Project Cost Plan by monitoring the deployment of manpower and checking on the cost effectiveness of resource deployment (time/ information/equipment).
2. Reports to Project Director or Deputy Project Director on all matters pertaining to design, technical & building code and contractual issues.
3. Liaise with Design Director and Design Team on conceptual design.
4. Executes the overall design and management strategy within the Project Team (Design and Project Management) and maintains the Project Quality Plan File (ISO 9001 & 14001).
5. Projects and identifies areas requiring resolution and generates probable solutions for confirmation by the Project Director/QP.
6. Provides first line resolution of design and management issues.
7. Interfaces regularly with Project Director to ensure fulfilment of project objectives.
8. Supervises, coordinates, plans, organizes, guides and interfaces intensively all works performed by the assigned team members to meet agreed timeline and to fulfil established project objectives.
9. Coordinates and attends Clients, Consultants and Technical Coordination Meetings.
10. Initiate and undertake actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformity.
11. Identify and record any product quality problems.
12. Verify the implementation of proposed/adopted solutions.
13. Check all documents for signing by the Project Director.
14. Steers the Project Team and give overall executive directives for the project.
