Associate Director or SA, Investor Relations/Product Specialist role with a Private Equity (PE) firm

• 2 roles available -one at Senior Associate level (3 to 5 years) and one at AD (8 to 12 years) level, with relevant experience in product-related/ IR roles, with a strong client service orientation.
• Has strong product knowledge gained in the asset management industry (PE/funds of funds/ PE fintech etc.) or IR consulting firms
• Product focus: Structured Solution, FOF, Private Credit, Private Equity, Funds of Hedge Funds

Our client is an established and highly regarded international PE firm which in a growth mode. It is a dynamic and innovative firm now looking to hire 2 Product Specialist/ IR roles in the IR team to drive the firm's investor relations, fund raising and product mangement activities:

• one at Senior Associate level (3 to 5 years)
• One at AD level (8 to 12 years)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the firm's investor relations activities, including investor servicing, reporting, query management, data room access, and CRM management.

• Drive ongoing investor engagement initiatives, such as investor visits, conferences, and roadshows.

• Lead and coordinate product launches and ongoing product management, including product positioning, collateral development, and strategic oversight.

• Support the firm's fundraising efforts in partnership with the sales team and senior management.

• Manage bespoke solutioning discussions, including proposal structuring and cross-functional coordination to deliver customised solutions.

• Support the firm's fundraising efforts in partnership with the sales team and senior management.

• Contribute to the firm's branding and communications initiatives.

• Oversee day-to-day administrative matters.

• Collaborate closely with the broader team and gain exposure to other business functions across the firm.

Key requirements

• Degree qualified with 3 - 12 years of experience in product specialist or IR roles, with a strong client service orientation. (Candidates with 3 to 5 years will be considered for the SA role; candidates with 8 to 12 years will be considered at the AD level.)
• Has strong product knowledge gained in the asset management industry (PE/funds of funds/ PE fintech etc.) or IR consulting firms
• Has product focus covering some of the following: Structured Solutions, FOF, Private Credit, Private Equity, Funds of Hedge Funds
• Able to work closely with the sales team to provide product insights
• Dynamic, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong spoken and written English is required. Proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage (though not mandatory), as the role will require supporting Chinese-speaking investors and related stakeholder communications.
• Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as experience in graphic design and video content creation, would be beneficial.
• Self-driven and independent team player with a positive attitude, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to investors
• Has strong stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of semi-liquid funds (i.e., PE or private credit) is beneficial but not a must
