Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Advisor role based in Singapore. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current financial situation, and recommend suitable insurance, investment, and wealth management solutions. In this role, the advisor will prepare and present financial plans, monitor client portfolios, and follow up regularly to review performance and adjust strategies as needed. The position involves prospecting and building a personal client base, conducting financial needs analysis, and staying current on market trends, products, and regulatory requirements. The advisor will also collaborate with agency leaders and team members, participate in training and development sessions, and adhere to compliance and ethical standards set by Manulife Financial Advisers and relevant authorities.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear, accessible terms.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess financial needs, interpret market information, and develop appropriate advisory strategies.
- Sales and business development mindset, including confidence in prospecting, networking, and managing a growing portfolio of clients.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical standards in financial advisory work.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail for managing client records, follow-ups, and documentation accurately.
- Relevant academic background in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Possession of, or eligibility to obtain, required regulatory certifications and licenses to practice as a Financial Advisor in Singapore.
- Prior experience in financial advisory, insurance, banking, or wealth management is an advantage, but motivated entry-level candidates will also be considered.
