Job Overview
The Associate Director, Investor Relations (IR) supports the development and execution of the company's investor relations strategy. The role serves as a key liaison between the company and the investment community, ensuring transparent, consistent, and credible communication of the company's financial performance, strategy, and outlook.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO, CFO and senior leadership team.
- Support the development of clear and consistent investor messaging and communication materials
- Support management in meetings and engagements with investors.
- Analyse company financial performance and key business drivers to support investor communications.
- Track investor feedback and market perspectives for internal sharing.
- Assist in strengthening governance, disclosure practices, and information flows in preparation for future public market requirements.
- Review and evaluate capital expenditure, business cases, and investment returns.
- Responsible for market Intelligence & Analysis which include peer and competitor benchmarking.
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to improve cost structure, margins, and profitability.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
Experience
- 12+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance
- Experience in the manufacturing, industrial, or electronics sector is preferred
