Job Overview

The Associate Director, Investor Relations (IR) supports the development and execution of the company's investor relations strategy. The role serves as a key liaison between the company and the investment community, ensuring transparent, consistent, and credible communication of the company's financial performance, strategy, and outlook.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO, CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Support the development of clear and consistent investor messaging and communication materials
  • Support management in meetings and engagements with investors.
  • Analyse company financial performance and key business drivers to support investor communications.
  • Track investor feedback and market perspectives for internal sharing.
  • Assist in strengthening governance, disclosure practices, and information flows in preparation for future public market requirements.
  • Review and evaluate capital expenditure, business cases, and investment returns.
  • Responsible for market Intelligence & Analysis which include peer and competitor benchmarking.
  • Partner with operations and commercial teams to improve cost structure, margins, and profitability.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance
  • Experience in the manufacturing, industrial, or electronics sector is preferred

Skills

  • Strong financial and business analysis skills
  • Comfortable engaging with senior management, board members, and external stakeholders.
  • Hands-on, structured, and commercially minded leader.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Competencies:

  • Commercially minded and analytical
  • Able to operate effectively in evolving and less structured environments
  • Support leadership with financial insights for decision making in business partnering.
  • Dependable leader with strong time management, coordination, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Travel

  • Frequent travel to overseas offices is required to support engagement with regional management teams and external stakeholders.
