We are seeking experienced candidates with strong investment and strategic skills, particularly in impact investing.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking adynamic and analytical Associate Director to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments, as well as supporting portfolio companies post-investment. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive deal execution, deepen sectoral expertise, and enhance fund performance.

Job Responsibilities

1. Investment Sourcing and Execution

Identify and assess early to growth-stage investment opportunities aligned with the firm's mandate

Conduct market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and investment memo preparation

Lead or co-lead deal structuring, negotiation, and execution processes

2. Portfolio Management

Support value creation for portfolio companies through active engagement with management teams and Boards

Monitor portfolio company performance and maintain regular reporting to the investment committee

Assist in follow-on investments, exits, and fundraising activities

3. Strategic Contribution

Develop investment theses in target sectors and geographies

Effectively manage internal teams and external parties, such as lawyers, accountants and tax experts

Interact effectively with internal teams across the organisation including stakeholders and senior management

Build relationships with founders, co-investors, accelerators, and other ecosystem players

Contribute to internal knowledge building and mentor junior team members

Job Requirements
At least of 8 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity or investment banking

Experience and track record in the sectors of healthcare and education, sustainability, or climate and energy

Highly numerate with knowledge of financial analysis and valuation methodologies

Experience in due diligence from a financial, accounting, legal or operational perspective

Experience investing in emerging markets or Asia

Passion for impact investing to generate social and environmental outcomes and familiarity with impact measurement frameworks

Has the ability to see the big picture whilst focusing on the financial details

Excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to present to senior stakeholders and Investment Committees

A strong academic background from reputable institutions and professional qualifications, i.e. Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline. A professional qualification, such as CFA and/or postgraduate qualification, such as MBA would be highly regarded.
