Associate Director
As an Associate Director at Klareco, you will be a senior leader providing strategic counsel across large and complex accounts, including crisis readiness and response. You will shape and manage integrated communications strategies, build trusted long-term client relationships, and drive strong campaign outcomes.
In addition, you will lead and mentor account teams, contribute to new business development, and collaborate with regional and international teams to support the agency's growth in Asia.
What You'll Do:
- Act as a senior leader and ambassador for the business, driving collaboration, talent development, and commercial performance across a portfolio of accounts.
- Provide trusted strategic counsel to clients, setting direction for complex accounts and managing high-stakes or sensitive issues.
- Lead client relationships at senior level, ensuring retention, growth, and consistently high standards of service delivery.
- Manage and mentor account teams, overseeing day-to-day execution, quality of work, timelines, and profitability.
- Leverage strong media and stakeholder networks to deliver impactful outcomes and guide the creation of high-quality content.
- Drive new business growth through opportunity identification, proposal development, pitches, and negotiations.
Who We're Looking For:
- 6-8 years experience in communications or a related field, with agency experience an added advantage.
- A strong leader and role model who takes ownership for delivering results.
- Strategic, commercially minded, and confident in providing bold counsel and sound decision-making.
- An effective people manager who motivates teams, embraces diversity, and fosters collaboration and excellence.
- Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage complexity and change.
- Creative and influential, with the confidence to build trusted professional relationships and drive outcomes.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively across multiple workstreams.
- Candidates with lesser experience may be considered at Senior Consultant level.
