We are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to join our Direct Investment Team as an Associate Director. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact investment transactions, gain exposure across multiple industries, and play a pivotal part in managing portfolio value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Origination & Execution - Source investment opportunities, participate in negotiations, and drive end-to-end transaction processes.
- Due Diligence Leadership - Lead comprehensive due diligence on potential deals, including business diligence, risk assessment, coordination of external advisors, and successful transaction closure.
- Investment Committee Engagement - Support the preparation and presentation of investment cases to the Investment Committee.
- Portfolio Management - Oversee and monitor portfolio companies, including loan coupon payments and principal repayments, while ensuring performance tracking.
- Reporting & Valuation - Prepare fund reports, portfolio performance updates, and valuation analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 8 years of experience in venture capital, private equity/credit, or investment banking.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with deep knowledge of valuation methodologies.
- Experience in conducting due diligence from financial, legal, and operational perspectives.
- Exposure to investments in emerging markets, particularly across Asia.
- Strong interest in impact investing and familiarity with impact measurement frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. CFA or MBA qualifications are a plus.
