Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and drive the technology roadmap in alignment with product and business priorities
- Provide architectural oversight to ensure systems are scalable, stable, and maintainable
- Align technology decisions with long-term platform and product evolution
End-to-End Delivery & Release Governance
- Own and oversee the end-to-end SDLC, with strong focus on release planning, coordination, and execution
- Establish and drive best practices across release management, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment processes
- Ensure structured release cycles with clear milestones, dependencies tracking, and risk mitigation
- Monitor delivery health, proactively identifying bottlenecks, risks, and quality issues across teams
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tooling, and release standards
Engineering Leadership
- Lead and guide multiple engineering teams, including Engineering Managers and senior engineers
- Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and operational excellence
- Ensure teams are aligned to delivery commitments and engineering standards
- Support hiring and development of engineering talent
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Work closely with Product, Business, and leadership teams to align on delivery timelines and priorities
- Act as a key point of coordination for cross-team dependencies and release readiness
- Manage external vendors and partners to ensure alignment with delivery and release expectations
- Communicate release status, risks, and timelines clearly to stakeholders
Platform & Product Oversight
- Oversee platform and application readiness for releases, ensuring stability and performance
- Ensure seamless integration across systems and environments
- Balance priorities across multiple products while maintaining delivery commitments
Requirements
- Strong foundation in software engineering, with 10+ years of experience and prior hands-on development background
- Mandatory experience managing end-to-end SDLC with strong exposure to release management and delivery governance
- Demonstrated ability to drive release planning, coordination, and execution across multiple teams
- Solid understanding of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, deployment pipelines)
- Experience in roadmap planning and delivery tracking in complex environments
- Strong technical knowledge across modern stacks (e.g., backend services, frontend frameworks, microservices, cloud platforms such as AWS)
- Experience working with vendors and managing cross-team dependencies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, especially in driving alignment on delivery and releases
