Job Description
Our client is a leading energy efficiency and building performance HVAC solutions provider, reducing energy consumption and enhancing building performance. They are now recruiting an Associate Director, Energy & Performance (HVAC) to lead technical solutions, energy optimisation and performance initiatives. They are located in West Singapore - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of energy optimisation solutions and technical capabilities across the regional market.
- Provide expert consultancy on HVAC plants, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, controls and ACMV systems.
- Analyse HVAC plant performance, identify operational inefficiencies and recommend practical improvement measures.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective actions for underperforming HVAC systems.
- Conduct on-site performance assessments, measurements and verification to evaluate system efficiency and operating conditions.
- Develop optimisation strategies and Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for HVAC plant improvement projects.
- Evaluate air distribution systems and recommend suitable technical solutions for operational and performance issues.
- Drive the development of new energy-saving solutions involving HVAC, automation, PLC, SCADA and control technologies.
- Establish technical standards, processes and frameworks to improve the efficiency and consistency of the Energy Sustainability function.
- Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to develop technical proposals and communicate solution value to customers.
- Lead technical presentations and discussions with senior-level clients, providing clear recommendations and building confidence in proposed solutions.
- Continuously review market technologies and identify opportunities to strengthen the organisation's energy performance capabilities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering with 10-15 years of strong technical experience in HVAC, energy management or related fields.
- SCEM, EEOA, BCA Energy Auditor and Green Mark certifications are required.
- Strong hands-on experience in HVAC plant operations, performance optimisation, troubleshooting and energy efficiency.
- Proven experience presenting technical solutions and managing discussions with senior-level customers.
