KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and evaluate early to growth-stage investment opportunities aligned with our impact mandate.
- Conduct detailed market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and investment memo preparation.
- Lead or co-lead transaction structuring, negotiations, and deal execution.
- Engage with portfolio company management teams and Boards to support strategic growth and value creation.
- Monitor portfolio performance and assist in reporting to investment committees.
- Support follow-on investment, exit strategies, and capital-raising initiatives.
- Develop and refine investment theses in key sectors and regions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external advisors (legal, tax, accounting).
- Build strong relationships with founders, co-investors, accelerators, and ecosystem partners.
- Contribute to team learning and mentor junior professionals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 8 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
- Proven track record in sectors such as healthcare, education, sustainability, or energy transition.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with deep knowledge of valuation methodologies.
- Experience in conducting due diligence from financial, legal, and operational perspectives.
- Exposure to investments in emerging markets, particularly across Asia.
- Strong interest in impact investing and familiarity with impact measurement frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field. CFA or MBA qualifications are a plus.
