Associate Director / Director - Equity Derivatives Structurer

About Our Client

Our client is an established financial services group seeking an experienced Equity Derivatives Structurer to join its Singapore team. Working closely with sales, trading and quant teams, you will help develop equity derivatives solutions for clients across the region. The role combines derivatives pricing, model testing and product design with flow transaction execution and the structuring of more complex, bespoke solutions. You will also contribute to the development and promotion of Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS), working with stakeholders internationally.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with sales, quant and trading teams on the structuring, pricing and execution of equity derivatives transactions.
• Analyse client investment needs and develop suitable product structures and solutions.
• Support the execution of flow derivatives transactions and assist with more complex, bespoke deals.
• Contribute to the design and development of new equity derivatives products.
• Perform derivatives pricing and model testing to support product development and transactions.
• Help develop and promote QIS strategies across the region.
• Collaborate with teams across Singapore and Greater China, as well as other internal stakeholders, to deliver client solutions.

Work Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience within an investment bank, with relevant exposure to equity derivatives structuring, pricing or structured solutions.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with good programming ability.
• Experience working with sales and trading teams on derivatives products and transactions.
• Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into structured investment solutions.
• Exposure to QIS would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams in an international environment.
