INSEAD is seeking an Associate Director, AI Learning Innovation to join our Research and Innovation Department. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Asia Campus in Singapore. A hybrid working model is in place 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.
About The Job
Reporting to the Executive Director, Learning Innovation, you will drive INSEAD's efforts to meaningfully integrate AI into teaching and learning. In this strategic technical role, you will shape how AI enhances pedagogy, improves learner experience, and supports INSEAD Faculty in innovating with new approaches. You will work within a cross department ecosystem of learning innovation teams, contributing your expertise to help define, test, and scale next generation AI enabled learning solutions.
Your role within the team
- Lead systematic experimentation and integration of AI into pedagogical materials (cases, simulations, course packages, digital learning assets, personalisation to cater to learners needs).
- Collaborate closely with INSEAD Immersive Learning on developing and scaling AIenabled learning solutions.
- Support faculty adoption of AIenhanced teaching methods and scale successful pilots.
- Collaborate with learning innovation units, INSEAD Publishing, INSEAD Knowledge, Immersive Learning, and content teams to drive effective and measurable use of AI applications.
- Contribute to streamlining INSEAD's digital learning platformsincluding Learning Hub, Digital@INSEAD, INSEAD Knowledge, and INSEAD Publishingleveraging unified AIenabled tools to enrich user experience.
- Serve as an AI Champion for the Research and Innovation Department, supporting AI learning, experimentation, and adoption among staff.
The ideal candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in digital engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience working with digital technologies, with demonstrated success building AI tools for education.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy digital tools.
- Customercentric mindset; familiarity with design thinking or similar methodologies is a plus.
- Creative yet practical; having a balanced approach to implementing ideas
- Works effectively with others, share information readily, support a collaborative environment, and contribute to solutionfocused outcomesespecially within globally distributed, multicultural teams.
- Demonstrates curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning. Actively seeks opportunities to grow, and contributes to an environment where continuous improvement is valued.
- Excellent communication skills; strong willingness to contribute beyond the defined role.
