This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 4 days minimum per week in the office.

We are seeking a self-motivated Associate to join our Direct Investment team. The principle functions include developing opinions on prospective investments, performing due diligence, conducting return analysis and writing investment summaries covering the Asia region.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Is able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Can thrive in a fast paced, high-volume environment

What you will do:

• Identify, evaluate and invest directly into operating companies (both in Asia and internationally)

• Perform company due diligence that includes industry research, calls with management teams, research analysts and site tours

• Prepare investment memoranda, generate detailed financial models and recommend investments to the Managing Directors

• Assist in the legal negotiation and closing process for new investments

• Construct evaluative capitalization models and analytic scenarios

• Monitor portfolio companies and attend board meetings / conference call

• Serve as first reviewer for unsolicited offering memos

• Proactively seek new investment opportunities by attending industry conferences and events

What you bring:

• Thorough knowledge of private equity markets and financial expertise

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to meet deadlines
