We're recruiting a Creative Director to lead ideas, people and craft within an advertising agency specialising in live events, experiential, brand activations and high-impact production.
This is a role for a creative who understands how ideas move from concept to realitysomeone equally comfortable shaping a big thought, directing execution on the ground, and guiding teams through fast-moving, high-pressure environments.
You'll work closely with clients, production, strategy and account teams to ensure creative ambition is matched by feasibility, quality and delivery.
The Role
As Creative Director, you'll be responsible for setting the creative vision across projects while remaining close to the work. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, elevate creative standards, and ensure ideas are strong, distinctive and producible.
This is not a deck-only role. You'll be involved in pitches, presentations, reviews, on-site execution and post-project refinementbringing leadership, taste and decisiveness throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative development across events, experiential campaigns and production projects
- Set and uphold high creative standards across concept, design, copy and execution
- Partner closely with Producers and Account Leads to align creative ambition with budgets and timelines
- Guide projects from early ideation through to final delivery and live execution
- Present ideas confidently to clients and senior stakeholders
- Mentor and develop creative teams, providing clear direction and constructive feedback
- Contribute to pitches, new business and agency reputation building
- Ensure creative work is culturally relevant, strategically sound and executionally excellent
- Act as a creative problem-solver when briefs shift or challenges arise
What We're Looking For
- 810 years experience in a creative role within advertising, experiential, events or production-led agencies
- Proven experience leading creative teams and delivering large-scale events or complex production work
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and real-world execution
- Deep understanding of production processes and the realities of live environments
- Confident client-facing presence with the ability to influence and inspire
- Collaborative mindsetyou work well with strategy, production and accounts
- Calm under pressure, decisive when needed, and supportive as a leader
- Experience working across multiple markets or cultural contexts is a plus
