Purpose: To support the development, implementation, and maintenance of contamination control programs to ensure cleanroom and processes meet required cleanliness standards. The role assists in monitoring cleanroom environmental conditions, enforcing cleanroom protocol, analyzing and reporting contamination data, and supporting engineering and production teams to prevent organic contamination and improve overall product quality.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control cleanroom environmental conditions to ensure compliance with cleanliness and contamination control standards.
- Perform routine cleanroom testing, data recording, trending, and escalation of abnormal results.
- Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and coordinate annual cleanroom certification.
- Establish and maintain cleanroom procedures, behaviors, and discipline.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to uphold contamination control requirements.
- Conduct audits of cleanroom practices, housekeeping, equipment, and area cleanliness, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Support contamination prevention processes, quality issue investigations, and root‑cause analysis activities.
- Assist with cleaning method trials, validation of new materials or tools, and evaluation of process effectiveness.
- Provide basic training on cleanroom discipline and contamination control and support updates to training materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, standardization of best practices, and sustain 5S adherence.
Requirement
- Diploma in Engineering or Science (preferably Chemical Engineering or Materials Science).
- Basic understanding of cleanroom principles, contamination control, and cleaning methods.
- Able to operate basic monitoring equipment (e.g. particle counters, hygrometers) with training.
- Familiar with basic problem-solving tools (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone) or willing to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and accountable.
- Able to perform under production pressure.
- Cleanroom experience is an advantage.
