Job Description
As an Associate Consultant at ESC, you will support the delivery of safety risk assessment services, including Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) such as HAZOPs and LOPA, Process Safety Management (PSM), Safety Case (SC), and other process safety studies. You will also assist in related safety and environmental business areas. This role is ideal for early-career professionals seeking to build expertise through collaboration with experienced consultants, clients, and authorities.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing reports, presentation materials, and project proposals for QRA, PHA, SC, and related studies.
- Conduct research, data collection, and contribute to technical assessments.
- Coordinate and support fieldwork activities, including site surveys and supervision where required.
- Support client and authority liaison efforts under guidance from senior consultants.
- Assist in proposal development, quotation preparation, and cost estimation.
- Maintain documentation such as legal registers and compliance records.
- Participate in marketing and business development initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to support project delivery throughout Asia.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills experience in client interaction is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office familiarity with safety risk assessment tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Professional integrity and accountability in both client-facing and internal interactions.
- Ability to exercise discretion when handling complex or sensitive matters.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and contribute across disciplines.
