As an Associate Cloud Solution Specialist, you will support and deliver Microsoft 365 workload implementations across Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365. You will work within a specialist service delivery team, engaging directly with customers to configure solutions, support migrations, and produce quality technical documentation.
This role is suited to someone early in their M365 career who is eager to grow through structured delivery engagements, develop deep product knowledge, and progressively take ownership of customer workstreams
Key Responsibilities
- Support and deliver M365 implementation engagements end-to-end, including configuration, testing, and handover.
- Assist with customer onboarding, workload migrations, and service transitions across M365 workloads.
- Configure and troubleshoot Exchange Online (mail flow, connectors, transport rules, hybrid considerations).
- Deploy and support Microsoft Teams governance policies, meeting configurations, and telephony settings.
- Implement SharePoint Online site structures, permissions, and information architecture.
- Configure Microsoft Purview compliance features - DLP policies, sensitivity labels, retention policies, and compliance settings.
- Support Microsoft Defender for Office 365 configurations - Safe Links, Safe Attachments, anti-phishing, and threat policies.
- Produce customer-ready documentation: configuration guides, change requests, implementation records, and handover packs.
- Liaise with customers to gather requirements, communicate status, and manage expectations throughout delivery.
- Follow established delivery frameworks, SOPs, change management processes, and escalation paths.

- Sensitivity labels, DLP policies, and retention lifecycle management
- Compliance policy configuration for M365 workloads
- Information protection governance aligned to customer requirements
Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Safe Links and Safe Attachments policy configuration
- Anti-phishing, anti-spoofing, and threat protection policies
- Threat explorer, alert review, and security reporting
Required Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in IT, with hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365 administration or implementation.
- Working knowledge of one or more M365 workloads: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Purview, or Defender for Office 365.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Entra ID basics (user management, licensing, permissions).
- Comfortable in customer-facing environments: clear communicator, professional, and solution-oriented.
- Ability to produce structured, clear technical documentation with minimal rework.
- Basic PowerShell scripting for M365 administration tasks is an advantage.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Microsoft certifications (any): MS-900, MS-102, SC-400 - preferred, not mandatory.
- Exposure to Microsoft Purview compliance features (DLP, sensitivity labels, retention).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Office 365 threat policies and reporting.
- Experience with email gateway technologies (e.g. Proofpoint, Mimecast) is a plus.
- Exposure to tenant-to-tenant or cross-platform migrations (Exchange, SharePoint) is advantageous.
