Job Description

A privately held real estate investment and asset management platform is looking to appoint an Associate – Capital Markets to work closely with senior leadership on the continued growth of its investor base and capital partnerships. This is a highly visible role offering direct exposure to the senior management team and the opportunity to support fundraising initiatives across institutional investors, family offices, private wealth and other capital partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior leadership on capital raising and investor relations initiatives.
  • Support the development and execution of fundraising strategies across existing and new investment vehicles.
  • Identify and research prospective institutional investors, family offices, private wealth groups and other capital partners.
  • Prepare investor presentations, pitch books, investment materials and other fundraising collateral.
  • Support investor meetings, presentations, roadshows and follow-up discussions.
  • Coordinate responses to investor due diligence and information requests.
  • Maintain and develop the investor pipeline, CRM and fundraising activity tracking.
  • Conduct market and investor research to identify new sources of capital.
  • Support the preparation of investor updates, fund materials and ongoing communications with existing LPs.
  • Work closely with the investment team to develop a strong understanding of the firm's investment strategies, portfolio and pipeline.
  • Assist senior management with strategic projects relating to business development, capital partnerships and platform growth.
Candidate Profile
  • Approximately 3–7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Prior experience within real estate investment, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, fund management, investor relations or capital raising would be advantageous.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities with the ability to understand investment opportunities and communicate them effectively to investors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills, with experience preparing high-quality investor or transaction materials.
  • Commercially minded, organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with significant exposure to senior decision-makers.
  • Regional Asian language capabilities or an existing investor network would be advantageous but are not essential.

This role would suit an investment or finance professional looking to transition towards capital raising, investor relations and business development, or an existing fundraising professional seeking broader responsibility. The successful candidate will work directly with senior leadership and gain exposure to both the investment and commercial sides of the business, with the opportunity to play an important role in expanding the firm's capital relationships and supporting its next phase of growth.
