Associate AWS Architect (Contract)

What You'll Do

• Support deployed applications and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in application deployments and release processes from development to production.
• Contribute to Linux system administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Support IIS configurations for web application hosting on Windows environments.
• Work with database teams on Oracle DB performance, configuration, and basic SQL query understanding.
• Participate in architectural reviews and help establish best practices and standards.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, architecture, and processes.
• Keep up with emerging technologies related to cloud and systems.
• Occasionally support after-hours maintenance or incident response when required.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent).
• 0 to 3 years commercial experience in cloud, platform engineering, DevOps, or similar fields.
• Good understanding of AWS cloud services and architectural principles.
• Knowledge of IIS and Windows Servers familiarity with Linux, NGINX, and Oracle DB is a plus.
• Basic ability to read/understand SQL queries
• AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect / DevOps) are advantageous but not required.
