Position : Associate / Analyst
Department : Debt Capital Markets / Corporate Finance
Key Responsibilities :
- Be part of a dynamic and expanding team responsible for originating, structuring and executing capital markets transactions, including both public and private DCM fundraisings.
- Undertake and compile research and analysis on markets, companies and industries.
- Perform quantitative analysis including peers analysis and financial statements analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch books and marketing materials for client presentations, and provide support to sales and marketing initiatives as required.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, analytical rigor and client service in all deliverable and engagements.
Job Requirements :
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Asian Debt Capital Markets or Corporate Finance.
- Possess excellent attention to detail.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
- A highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of initiative, combined with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior deal execution experience in bond issuances by Southeast Asian and Mainland China issuers is highly desirable.
Job Specification :
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accountancy, Business or a quantitative discipline is a plus.
- CFA charter holder would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bloomberg and other financial modelling tools.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Mandarin fluency is an advantage.
- Analytical mind-set with strong problem-solving, prioritization and multitasking abilities under tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with ability to work independently or in teams.
