Associate, AI Automation & Prototyping - Regional Brand & Growth Marketing

About the Team:

This role sits within the Regional Brand & Growth, AI Traffic team at Shopee.

We are looking for an Associate, AI Automation & Prototyping, to help the SEO & GEO team work smarter. You will identify where AI agents and automation can reduce manual effort and scale output, build working proofs-of-concept, and hand them off to a dedicated product and engineering team for production.

Good discovery is the foundation of this role. You will spend real time understanding how work actually gets done today, talking to operators and marketeers, mapping processes, and identifying where the real pain points are. Building comes after that, not before.

Job Description:

• Design and build working MVPs and proofs-of-concept using no-code, low-code, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks such as n8n or similar tools. Your builds demonstrate a proposed solution so that product and engineering can take it to production with confidence
• Talk to SEO operators and marketing stakeholders to understand how work currently gets done. Identify process bottlenecks, manual effort, and opportunities where AI agents or automation would create meaningful leverage
• Translate what you learn into clear workflow documentation, system logic, and requirements that allow the dev team to build reliably without repeated clarification loops
• Maintain a prioritised backlog of automation and agent opportunities across the SEO org, informed by ongoing team feedback and the evolving landscape of AI tooling
• Stay current on AI agents, automation platforms, and workflow tooling. Bring relevant developments back to the team as practical ideas they can act on

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in any field; A master's degree is advantageous but not required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in digital strategy, product management, digital operations
• Demonstrated ability to gather user insights independently, including conducting conversations, mapping processes, and synthesising findings into clear recommendations
• Hands-on experience building with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms as part of regular day-to-day work
• Ability to build working prototypes or MVPs independently using no-code or low-code tools, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, or lightweight scripting
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with operators and marketeers on one side and product and engineering teams on the other
• Familiarity with automation or workflow platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or equivalent tools is a plus
• Experience with process mapping or blueprint methodologies is a plus
• Exposure to SEO, digital marketing, content operations is a plus
