Job Description:

The APAC (Asia Pacific) Intelligence Analyst is responsible for administering and advancing the region's security intelligence and analysis program. This role gathers, reviews, and analyzes information from diverse sources to identify emerging threats, trends, and potential impacts to associates, facilities, and operations. The analyst produces proactive reporting, briefings, and assessments for leadership and internal partners, and serves as a crisis reporter or team lead during securityrelated incidents.

The role requires the ability to manage complex analytical tasks, shift quickly between priorities, and work independently. The analyst builds strong partnerships with business leaders, security teams, and external stakeholders provides expert guidance on security issues supports highvisibility projects and may mentor junior analysts. The position also includes research and analysis of crime, geopolitical, terrorism, and other intelligencerelated data to identify patterns and inform riskbased decisionmaking.


Responsibilities:

  • Researches, compiles, analyzes, and disseminates crime, geopolitical, terrorism, and threat intelligence and information
  • Compiles and distributes trend analysis reports, as necessary
  • Assists in maintaining, populating, and evaluating intelligence databases
  • Acts as liaison between Bank of America and various local and federal law enforcement intelligence units
  • Assists supervisor with special projects as directed.
  • Supports analytical and regional security team during times of emergencies and other events
  • Supports and improves the standard operating procedures for the crime and threat analysis and reporting function within the Security Operations Analysis Command Center and the supporting procedures within Corporate Security.
  • Provides current and accurate information on emerging events and trends that could impact Bank of America to tactical and strategic customers, from Protective Service Managers (PSMs) to senior leaders. This reporting would be both in response to inquiries and proactively when trends of developments require notification with the bank.
  • Serves as liaison to outside sources and entities to proactively receive and/or improve criminal and threat activity/data streams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in the intelligence, crime, geopolitical, or threat analysis field, including experience with federal, state, local, or privatesector intelligence or lawenforcement entities demonstrated familiarity with the intelligence cycle (collection, analysis, and dissemination).
  • Demonstrated experience with analytical tools and processes (e.g., ArcGIS, PowerPoint, Excel macros, pivot tables, Vlookups, linking tables) and with research methodologies relevant to the social sciences (quantitative, qualitative, and evaluation research).
  • Superior research skills, including the ability to quickly investigate and analyze complex or unfamiliar topics.
  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms and digital networking tools.
  • Superior writing skills with a solid understanding of intelligenceanalysis writing standards (clear, concise, and actionable).
  • Professional demeanor and strong team orientation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) proven ability to support and interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders excellent briefing skills and the ability to synthesize large volumes of data for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and collaborating across regions to produce valueadded intelligence analysis ability to balance direction from leaders in multiple locations.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to use databases to input, manage, and extract data proficiency with mapping software to visualize security, threat, and intelligence trends.

  • Willingness to serve in a rotating oncall capacity to support securityrelated events.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or concentration in a relevant field
  • Three years in a related profession (example: prior Military or Law Enforcement, Federal or Private Sector Intelligence, Corporate Security, Crisis Response Communications, etc.)
  • Previous intelligence experience covering the Asia Pacific region where analysis informed decision making
