Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable individual to join our Controls and Reporting team. This role involves performing daily control checks and assisting with functional and regulatory reporting.
Further to control and reporting function, this role will also play a critical role in managing and planning of our Operations processing team(s) on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
Support Head of Servicing and Operations as a primary Control & Reporting Manager daily – scope of coverage and oversight are as follows:
- Conduct daily control checks to ensure operational accuracy and compliance with internal procedures and escalate any discrepancies or irregularities identified during checks in a timely manner.
- Key owner accountable for our organization's Cost of Investments (COI) reconciliation and reporting with CPF Board and Agent Banks.
- Primary contact for our service provider/vendors for Operational matters as well as regulatory (e.g. CPF Board) for clarifications as well as reporting related matters.
- Perform first level calculations for any trade delays or issues that require price comparison. Work with vendor to ensure timely processing of units/cash compensations for clients.
- Assist in the preparation of reports required for regulatory reporting, management oversight and stakeholder communication, including IRAS reporting (FATCA & CRS)
- Primary support and oversight of Operations team
- Support data entry, reconciliation, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 5 years and above experience in handling investment operations industry, with any knowledge of Unit Trust/investment would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Cost of Investments reporting
- Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Experience using Excel functions like VLOOKUP, pivot Tables, or basic formulas.
- Possess an open & growth mindset to changes and challenges, always being highly adaptable, and self-independent party with logical structured thinking/decision making skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills as a governance for Operations teams
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
