Assistant Vice President, Corporate Finance & Fundraising (Real Estate)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance professional with a real estate background to join our team. In this role, you will drive group strategy, lead M&A and fundraising initiatives, manage capital markets transactions, and oversee financial risk management. This is a key position for a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and a proven track record in full-cycle transactions.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Strategy & Corporate Exercises

• Formulate and implement group strategy and strategic planning for the next 5-10 years
• Originate and execute M&A transactions and corporate actions, including term sheet drafting and negotiations
• Coordinate with external advisors for due diligence, financial analysis, modelling, deal structuring, documentation, and closing

Capital Markets & Fundraising

• Lead capital markets transactions, including bonds and equity offerings
• Lead financing and refinancing exercises for new and existing debt facilities
• Establish and deepen relationships with banks
• Update banks on group performance and explore cross-selling opportunities

Financial Risk Management

• Review and monitor group hedging strategy, including FX and interest rate swaps
• Ensure alignment of hedging activities with financial risk management objectives

Investor Relations & Research Coverage

• Update investor and AGM presentations
• Engage research analysts to secure coverage

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Treasury
• Real estate industry exposure is essential
• Strong understanding of M&A processes and SGX takeover and listing rules
• Full-cycle transaction experience with demonstrable involvement
• Outstanding financial modelling skills (DCF, IRR, payback analysis, comparables, benchmarking)
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous with high discretion when handling confidential information
• Work experience in Singapore and/or APAC market is essential
