Assistant Vice President - Consumer Propositions (Medical and Disability)

Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation of the annual product strategy and roadmap, aligning with business priorities. Conduct competitive landscape analysis to assess medical and long-term care propositions. Identify growth opportunities through analysis of customer segments, sales trends, and distribution effectiveness. Drive cross-functional ideation for innovative product propositions addressing client protection needs. Secure management alignment through effective communication of proposition value and differentiation. Manage the preparation of approval materials ensuring clarity on risks and financial implications. Collaborate with the product delivery team to address implementation issues and oversee product launch. Monitor sales performance and recommend actions to optimize outcomes based on performance analysis. Guide and mentor team members to strengthen product and proposition capabilities.

Requirements

• Tertiary education qualification in Actuarial, Insurance, Finance, or Marketing-related disciplines. 10-15 years of experience in product development, proposition, or pricing, preferably in the medical and/or long-term care sector. Strong analytical skills with the ability to inspire creativity and critical thinking. Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Proactive individual focused on continuous improvement and able to work under tight deadlines.
