The Distribution Manager is responsible for driving sustainable business growth and strengthening the firm's distribution network. This role focuses on expanding market reach, enhancing cluster performance, supporting recruitment and retention, and ensuring operational excellence in a regulated and digitally evolving financial advisory environment. Acting as a key link between management, internal stakeholders, and appointed Representatives, the Distribution Manager ensures strategic alignment and effective execution across the business.
- Distribution Growth & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed business targets and KPIs across clusters.
- Identify growth opportunities through market intelligence, regulatory updates (e.g., MAS frameworks), and competitor analysis.
- Diversify revenue streams by exploring new client segments, channels, and strategic partnerships.
- Cluster & Representative Management
- Collaborate with Branch Directors and team leaders to strengthen productivity and distribution effectiveness.
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and coaching to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and client engagement.
- Provide leadership support in the absence of Cluster Directors, including oversight of Representatives submissions and digital advisory tools.
- Build trusted relationships with Representatives, product providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Recruitment, Engagement & Retention
- Support recruitment initiatives by assisting with candidate evaluation, interviews, and onboarding.
- Ensure smooth integration of new Representatives into the firm's ecosystem.
- Maintain strong engagement with branches through communication, performance reviews, and feedback loops to sustain morale and retention.
- Operations, Compliance & Digital Enablement
- Act as the primary liaison for operational, compliance, and service-related matters impacting distribution.
- Monitor business pipelines and submissions to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Drive adoption and optimization of digital tools (e.g., eFNA platforms) through training and feedback.
- Partner with cross-functional teams on seminars, compliance clarifications, and marketing initiatives.
- Reporting & Management Support
- Prepare and analyze performance reports, forecasts, and market insights to guide management decisions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic planning and growth initiatives.
