ASSISTANT TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

Assistant Technical Support Engineer

Job Scope:

. Perform basic repairs and module replacements for intercom and related devices

. Handle RMA processes, including troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with vendors

. Conduct in-house testing, quality checks, and verification of repaired or replaced units

. Maintain inventory of spare parts and modules

. Prepare simple reports on repairs, failures, and RMA trends

. Provide on-site support for service calls or project installations as needed

. Assist service and project teams with technical support when required

. Assist with new product testing and evaluation

. Assist with other technical tasks as assigned

Requirements:

. Diploma/ITE Certificate in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field

. Basic knowledge of electronics, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques

. Hands-on ability to perform module replacements and device assembly/disassembly

. Good organizational skills to track RMAs, spares, and documentation

. Willingness to provide occasional on-site support

. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting

. Knowledge of TCP/IP, Network Structure

. Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
