Assistant Technical Superintendent ( COC 1, COC2 and COC3)

COENS Energy is representing a leading shipping company with a modern tanker fleet in Singapore who is looking for a technically-grounded professional to bridge the gap between ship and shore, ensuring the fleet remains at peak operational and safety readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day technical and safety integrity of assigned vessels, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and maritime laws.

• Lead planned maintenance, repair projects, and dry-docking activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient vessel dispatch.

• Conduct regular shipboard machinery inspections and coordinate with Class Surveyors to maintain all necessary certifications.

• Monitor technical expenditures and provide detailed reporting on variances and repair costs to the Fleet Manager.

Requirements

• COC Class 1, 2, or 3 holder with sailing experience (Oil Tankers preferred).

• At least 2 years of shore-based ship repair or marine engineering experience.

• A proactive, results-oriented professional with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with shipboard staff.
