We are seeking a hands-on, service-oriented Assistant Technical Manager to support technical operations within the commercial dishwashing equipment industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong practical experience with commercial kitchen equipment, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and the capability to support customers, service partners, and internal teams through technical expertise and structured training.
Key Responsibilities
. Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of commercial dishwashing equipment.
. Provide first-line technical support to customers, service partners, and internal stakeholders.
. Conduct technical training sessions for dealers, service partners, and end-users on correct equipment operation and basic maintenance.
. Coordinate service schedules with technicians and partners for preventive maintenance and urgent repair works.
. Prepare and maintain service reports, maintenance records, and troubleshooting documentation.
. Monitor equipment performance and assist in preventive maintenance planning.
. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
. Collaborate closely with sales and operations teams on product demonstrations, site inspections, and technical clarifications.
. Liaise with manufacturers on product updates, warranty matters, and technical support issues.
. Assist in managing spare parts inventory, availability, and logistics.
Requirements
. Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
. 3-5 years of relevant technical service experience, preferably in commercial food service, dishwashing equipment or machineries
. Proven hands-on experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment.
. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and conduct training sessions.
. Willingness to travel locally for on-site service and training assignments.
. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and service documentation systems.
Preferred Qualifications
. Familiarity with leading commercial kitchen and dishwashing equipment brands.
. Experience working with service partners, contractors, and external dealers.
. Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance standards in commercial kitchen environments.
. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
