Responsibilities
Outward Treaties
- Review quarterly Treaty closings for rendering
- Review reconciliations of Treaty Reports with GL and SOA every quarter
- Review quarterly Profit Commission workings, XOL claims computation, Reinstatement premiums, Indexation
- Review and sign off Treaty SOAs
- Ensure timely settlement and collection of account balances from/to reinsurers
- Review various quarterly Treaty statistics and Large claims report
- Assist in Treaty annual renewal package
Inward Treaties
- Review accuracy of Inward Treaty Statements from Cedants for booking into system
- Oversee timely booking of treaty Statement of accounts and sign off Treaty bookings
- Preparation of Sliding scale commission, Loss Participation accounts and Profit Commissions
- Review ageing reports and ensure collection of balances on timely manner
- Review monthly Treaty Closings monitor to ensure timely receipt of SOAs fromcedants/Broker
- Review monthly reconciliation reports for Treaty SOA bookings, Cash call and PLA/RLAbookings
- Review monthly IFRS17 report (Inward Treaty EPI)
Retro Treaties
- Prepare month end reconciliation for Inward to Retro bookings using system reports
- Review Retro Reinsurance SOA for rendering to reinsurers/Brokers
Others
- Participate in projects aimed at improving process proficiency
- Prepared to take up any tasks as required by Management
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree holder ideally from a numerical discipline
- Min 5 years relevant experience in Reinsurance industry handling Reinsurance Technical Accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Good time management
- Team player
