About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant System Manager to manage and enhance IT infrastructure supporting mission-critical Defence systems. The role involves stakeholder coordination, governance and compliance oversight, system security reviews, and ensuring reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site integrated systems management support.
- Manage stakeholder meetings and ensure SLA/KPI fulfillment.
- Enforce system governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Maintain and review security plans, track vulnerabilities, and support remediation.
- Ensure asset inventory is updated and accurate.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and infrastructure issues.
- Support Integrated Logistics Support activities.
- Drive digital transformation related to system efficiency and cyber resilience.
- Manage tech refresh planning and execution.
Requirements
- Degree in IT or related field with 5+ years experience managing IT infrastructure in large/complex environments.
- Strong knowledge in system/network diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with transmission networks, Windows Server, Linux (virtualized),
SolarWinds, and Nessus preferred. - Strong analytical, coordination, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
