Oversees the liaision and negotiation with sub-contractors and suppliers.
Works closely with the Procurement manager, Client / Client Representatives and Sub-Contractors to accurately arrive with progress claims and variation claims.
Deals with contractual issues between main contractor and client, and those between main contractor and sub-contractors
Ensures progressive claims are promptly put up to the client through accurate measurement of actual works accomplished
Conduct reviews and provide guidance on Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and subcontractor payments
All other Contract Management related job
Requirements:
Degree / Diploma in Construction Management/Building or its equivalent
5 years and above experience as managerial role in main-con companies contract department
Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese to support daily coordination and bilingual report submissions to Beijing HQ
Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
