Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost comparison and analysis report.
  • Oversees the liaision and negotiation with sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Works closely with the Procurement manager, Client / Client Representatives and Sub-Contractors to accurately arrive with progress claims and variation claims.
  • Deals with contractual issues between main contractor and client, and those between main contractor and sub-contractors
  • Ensures progressive claims are promptly put up to the client through accurate measurement of actual works accomplished
  • Conduct reviews and provide guidance on Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and subcontractor payments
  • All other Contract Management related job

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Construction Management/Building or its equivalent
  • 5 years and above experience as managerial role in main-con companies contract department
  • Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
  • Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese to support daily coordination and bilingual report submissions to Beijing HQ
  • Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
