We are looking for a passionate and organized Assistant Studio Manager to be the heartbeat of our studio. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and the member experience. You will work closely with the Studio Manager to drive sales performance, optimize our class offerings, and build a vibrant community.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who loves Yoga, thrives on hitting targets, and possesses the operational savvy to keep the studio running smoothly.
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
Target Achievement: Take ownership of monthly sales targets for new memberships, class packs, and retail products.
Lead Management: Manage the sales funnel by responding to inquiries, conducting studio tours for prospective members, and following up on leads via phone/email.
Retention: Monitor member attendance and implement re-engagement strategies for inactive members to minimize churn.
Reporting: Assist in tracking KPIs and preparing weekly sales reports for management.
2. Class Scheduling & Instructor Liaison
Timetable Management: Oversee the daily and monthly class schedule, ensuring a balanced mix of class styles and teachers to maximize attendance.
Substitute Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for instructor call-outs quickly secure substitute teachers to ensure zero class cancellations.
Payroll Assist: Verify instructor attendance and class counts to assist with accurate payroll processing.
3. Workshops, Courses & Events
Coordination: Plan and execute special events, workshops, and teacher training courses from conception to completion.
Logistics: Manage event logistics, including room setup, registration tracking, and materials preparation.
Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote upcoming workshops to members via social media and newsletters.
4. Member Services & Community Management
Front of House: Lead by example at the front desk-checking members in, answering phones, and providing exceptional hospitality.
Issue Resolution: Handle member feedback, complaints, or account issues with grace, professionalism, and solution-oriented thinking.
Community Building: Foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every student feels seen and welcomed by name.
5. Studio Operations
Facility Maintenance: Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure the studio, changing rooms, and practice spaces are spotless and fully stocked (props, towels, amenities).
Inventory: Manage retail inventory (yoga mats, apparel, beverages), including ordering and restocking.
Software Admin: Maintain accurate data in our studio management software (e.g., Mindbody, Glofox), keeping member profiles and pricing options up to date.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in sales, retail management, or hospitality (fitness/wellness industry experience is a strong plus).
Sales Drive: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM/Booking software (e.g., Mindbody, ClassPass) and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Availability: Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends as business dictates.

Problem Solver: Ability to think on your feet during busy shifts or when operational issues arise.
